Your dog stays in the house, not in a kennel.
Overnight boarding in North Austin for up to 3 dogs at a time.
$36per night
Introductory rate while we get started. Going to $70 per night later this year.

What comes with a stay
Everything below is part of the nightly rate. There is no menu of extras at the end.
Medication, at no extra charge
Pills, liquids, insulin, eye and ear drops. Bring the packaging and the schedule, and we follow it exactly. Most places bill this as an add-on. We think charging extra to keep a dog well is a strange way to run a boarding house.
The food your dog already eats
Raw, prescription, home cooked, three small meals, fed away from the other dogs. A stay away from home is the worst possible time to change a dog's diet, so we do not.
Photos from a real camera
Not a blurry phone frame of a dog mid-shake. Proper photos, taken while your dog is doing something, sent while you are away. Owners tell us this is the part that lets them relax.
A bed, or the couch, or your feet
There are no kennels or runs here. Dogs sleep in the house with the family, and most of them work out the softest spot within a day.
A day here
There is no schedule pinned to a wall, because this is a house and not a facility. Dogs get up when we do, go out into the fenced yard, eat on their own schedule, and spend the day wherever the people are. Penny handles most of the entertainment.
We both work from home, so the dogs almost always have company. That is the honest version. Not a promise that somebody is standing over your dog every minute, but a house where being alone is the exception rather than the default.
Say hello
Send a request or call. Tell us the dates and anything we should know. We reply as ourselves, not with a form letter.
Come and see the house
A free twenty minute visit. Your dog meets Penny, walks the yard, and decides for themselves. You get to see where they would sleep.
Confirm it on Rover
Once the dates are agreed, the booking and the payment go through Rover. That is where the insurance sits and where our reviews are public. You never send us money directly.
Drop off and go
Bring food, medication, and something that smells like home. We take it from there and you get on with your trip.
Watch from wherever you are
Photos while you are away, shot properly. The kind you end up keeping rather than deleting.
“My shih tzu can be a bit of a diva with lots of personality, and they are endlessly patient with her.”
Before you book
Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella. Rabies is required by Texas law. Send a photo of the records from your vet, or ask them to email us directly. If your dog is on a titer schedule instead, talk to us.
Tell us your dates.
We will confirm whether we are free, and set up a meet and greet so your dog sees the house before the first night.
